The 2024-2025 Team Cavender’s Athletes

For over half a century, Cavender’s has not only brought you the best in Western Wear but also continues to give back to the Cowboy community. We’re committed to keeping the traditions and values of the Western way of life alive and well by supporting the sport of Rodeo. Sponsorships like that of local ranch rodeos or the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo help preserve our cowboy culture for generations to come. However, there is nothing more rewarding than supporting the people behind the roaring crowds, championship buckles, and highly decorated chaps: the athletes.

5 years ago, we took our first step in fostering the future of Rodeo by founding Team Cavender’s Youth Rodeo team. These high school athletes range in age from 14 to 18. Through their dedication to their craft and exceptional character they inspire others to achieve greatness. Every year, we carefully select athletes to not only represent Cavender’s in the arena but in their lives as well. This team has worked diligently for numerous awards and titles, but what we’d like to highlight is their unwavering strength in the face of adversity, their leadership, their kind hearts, and their community involvement.

The future of Rodeo is bright with this all-star team. Over the years our Team Cavender’s athletes have collectively held impressive titles such as world championships, national championships, state titles, and countless other esteemed awards. These high school athletes, ranging in age, represent 11 event disciplines. Originating from Texas, New Mexico, Tennessee, Kansas, Florida, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, each and every one of these kids brings something special to the team.

“This year, we will have a roster of 22 athletes, with ten of these athletes being our class of 2025 seniors. These athletes have become a part of the Cavender’s family, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish on and off the dirt,” says Sydney Shepard, Cavender’s Athlete Relations, and Event Specialist.

Cavender’s is honored to introduce to you our 2024-2025 Team Cavender’s Athletes!
