Break out the noisemakers and bring out the balloons, because it’s time for country music fans to celebrate. April is more than just the first full month of spring. It’s also a big month for country music birthdays, with tons of your favorite country stars blowing out their birthday candles this month.

Hillary Scott – April 1, 1986
The Lady Antebellum singer celebrates her big 3-0 this year, and she’s set to commemorate the occasion with a gospel album she’s been working on with her family, rumored to be released this year.
Buddy Jewell – April 2, 1961
Thirteen years after winning the very first season of Nashville Star, Buddy is celebrating his 55th birthday this year.
Emmylou Harris – April 2, 1947
The beautiful singer-songwriter turns 69 this year. She’s still going strong, with a string of performances and a 2016 Grammy nomination for her Americana album with Rodney Crowell, The Traveling Kind.
Mike Eli – April 5, 1981
The charismatic lead singer of the Eli Young Band, which is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year by the Academy of Country Music awards, turns 35 this April.
Loretta Lynn – April 14, 1932
Turning 84 this year, Loretta Lynn has plenty to celebrate with the release of her first album in more than a decade, Full Circle.
Glen Campbell – April 22, 1936
The legendary Glen Campbell turns 80-years-old this year. The celebration for Glen started early, with a Grammy win in February for the soundtrack to the documentary of his Goodbye Tour.
Kelly Clarkson – April 24, 1982
The versatile pop singer, who has recorded a number of country duets with stars like Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean, and Vince Gill, turns 34 this year. She’s also set to welcome her second child this year with husband Brandon Blackstock, who as Reba McEntire’s stepson, has plenty of country roots himself.
Rory Feek – April 25, 1966
Rory celebrates his 50th birthday this year, but it’s a bittersweet one. He recently lost his wife and musical partner Joey Feek to cancer, though their final album together, Hymns That Are Important to Us, hit number one on the country music charts.
Willie Nelson—April 29, 1933
The country music icon has plenty to celebrate this year. He not only turns 83 at the end of April, 2016 also marks the 30th anniversary of the Luck Reunion festival, which he’s set to celebrate with a three-venue concert event in late March.
